Sometimes you don’t need a space cleared…you just need a stump to be removed. Some of our Carolina Trees leave a long lasting reminder of their time. And often, it is right in the middle of your planned landscaping.
Many landscape companies manage small pieces of equipment that do a good job of taking out small stumps, but then there are the big boys…those stumps that are 8+ inches across, and they aren’t quite so easy. We get calls when the landscape equipment just can’t handle it.

There are some pros and cons to both sides of grinding a stump or removing one.
Grinding is cheaper, often faster, and has a lower initial impact on the surrounding area. However if you need to use the stump location to plant grass or flowers or another tree, grinding isn’t the best option.
Stump removal is a common part of land clearing, because you need a blank canvas…and that might be what you need as well. Each tree has its own root structure, some going deep and others spreading wide…we will help evaluate the type of tree you have and make suggestions on removal options.
